Fostering Social and Emotional Learning

The Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning (CASEL) framework is a comprehensive approach to promoting social and emotional learning (SEL) in educational settings. SEL is the process through which individuals acquire and apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions.

Key Components
